Predicting Diabetes

A recent article from Diabetes Health reports that high levels of three messenger proteins may be early indicators of the development of type 2 diabetes.

 

In a recent study out of the University of California at Los Angeles, high blood levels of three cytokines, or messenger proteins, were found to be early markers that predicted the development of type 2 diabetes six years down the road. (Diabetes Health)
